In 2012, TiKiLi translated the operation manual for Self-Propelled Silage Harvester for Krone, a German company. From this endeavour, TiKiLi extracted more than 2,900 terms in Chinese, German and English, setting a standard for translation quality. Agricultural machinery was a unfamiliar field for TiKiLi. Hence, we first created a glossary of terms, then, with the help of dictionaries, expert review and client confirmation, we ensured the terms were accurate and professional. This has solved the marked problem of inaccurate terminology in unfamiliar fields. When multiple translators work at the same time, the database is correspondingly refined, thus avoiding the  problem of inconsistencies in terminology.
